Search the local posts first
Browse the Lost and Found views in the app and use search, category, district or date filters to narrow your results. Location-based browsing helps you focus on the area around you. Read the details of a possible match before contacting the person who posted it.
Create a useful lost or found post
Choose whether you lost or found an item. Add a clear title, select a category and describe the item and relevant area. You can attach a photo and select a district. Keep identifying details that could help establish ownership for the claim conversation instead of putting every detail in the public post.
How to use Lost and Found
- Install uCitizen and open Lost and Found in the app.
- Check existing posts, or create a Lost or Found post with the relevant details.
- Choose your contact preference: inbox, phone or both. Follow the post and respond to people who may have a match.
Stay connected to the search
The app includes category subscriptions and comments so you can follow the kinds of posts that matter to you. Keep your own post current as new information becomes available. uCitizen provides a way for people to connect; a match depends on what your community has shared. For broader conversations, explore public community groups as well.
