Child Safety Standards

uCitizen is committed to protecting children and maintaining a safe digital environment. We enforce strict safeguards to prevent abuse, exploitation, and unsafe interactions. These standards follow internationally recognized child safety principles and platform requirements.

Zero Tolerance Child Safety Policy

uCitizen strictly prohibits:

  1. Child Sexual Exploitation: Any content involving sexual exploitation, grooming, or inappropriate interaction with minors is permanently banned and reported to relevant authorities.
  2. Sexual Content Involving Minors: Uploading, sharing, requesting, or promoting any sexual content involving persons under 18 years old is strictly forbidden.
  3. Child Abuse or Harm: Any content that promotes or depicts physical or psychological harm to children is prohibited.
  4. Child Endangerment: Posting information that exposes a child’s identity, location, school, or private details in a way that could put the child at risk is not allowed.
  5. Child Trafficking or Exploitation: Any attempt to recruit, exploit, or traffic minors is strictly forbidden.

Safety Measures and Protections

1. Moderation and Detection

uCitizen uses a combination of automated systems and human review to detect and remove content that may violate child safety rules. Content suspected of involving minors in unsafe situations may be immediately restricted pending investigation.

2. Reporting Child Safety Concerns

Users can report content or behavior involving minors through the in-app reporting tools. Reports involving child safety are prioritized and reviewed urgently.

3. Account Enforcement

Accounts involved in child exploitation or unsafe behavior toward minors will be permanently banned. Severe violations may be reported to law enforcement and appropriate child protection organizations.

4. Privacy Protection for Minors

uCitizen discourages sharing personally identifiable information about children. We take steps to remove content that exposes minors to unnecessary risk.

Age Requirements

uCitizen is intended for users aged 13 years and above. Users below the required age are not permitted to create accounts.

If we discover that an account belongs to a user under the minimum age, the account may be removed to protect the child’s privacy and safety.
